Comparative study and intervention preserved on two pastels by and from Rosalba Carriera

Upon macroscopic examination, the two drawings do indeed present the characteristics to be considered as pastels produced in the 18th century, but, in the absence of archival elements, confirming with certainty the autograph leads to confronting the impasse that Rosalba Carriera is undoubtedly a "frequently copied" artist during the 18th or 19th century.
