The 14th-century Crucifix of Fossò
The 14th-century Crucifix of Fossò, from theworkshop of Moranzone, was presented to the public.
With the generous support of the Amici del Gradenigo Association, my research on the altarpieces Giambattista Tiepolo painted for Piove di Sacco has been published.
The text takes a detailed look at the iconography of the Carmelite Altarpiece in the Duomo of San Martino; the two altarpieces from the Church of San Nicolò, of which only the magnificent San Francesco di Paola survives; and an altarpiece from the Church of San Vido, now on display in Chicago!
If you would like to support the Amici del Gradenigo Association, which has been working for over two decades to safeguard, restore, and enhance the heritage of the Sacca area, you can also purchase a copy of the book through them: https://www.facebook.com/amicigradenigo/
