The work is an oil on canvas by a Venetian artist, dating back to the first half of the 18th century.

The numerous losses of the paint layer, the extensive, very darkened retouching, and the yellowed restoration varnishes almost obscure the composition.

A restoration project has therefore been launched to restore the work's legibility and ensure its better preservation.
